Yonghong and DEVELON Present the DX225LC Electric Excavator Conversion

Yonghong and DEVELON have introduced an electric-control conversion of the proven DX225LC excavator. The project combines the original machine hydraulic platform with a lower-emission power system for fixed-site and emission-controlled worksites.

Built on a proven platform

The conversion retains the familiar operating feel, hydraulic response and structural strength of the DX225LC. Yonghong engineers then integrate the electrical system, thermal management and safety protection around the machine parameters.

Two power routes are available: a towed-cable configuration for continuous fixed-site operation and a modular battery configuration under development for projects that require greater mobility.

Designed for demanding sites

The solution is prepared for steel mills, ports, tunnels, urban construction and other environments where low noise, zero local emissions and predictable operating costs matter.

Yonghong combines DEVELON equipment with practical engineering, parts and after-sales support for demanding worksites.

Standardized conversion procedures, jointly defined by DEVELON’s original machine parameters and Yonghong’s integration and load testing, guarantee safety and long-term stability. Visitors are welcome at the Yantai demo site.
